[:en]One of the previous posts, we mentioned about various top paying part-time jobs in Australia that students can take up while studying. We reckon many will feel that through working experiences, one will grow in many aspects, most importantly, it teaches you what the schools don’t.

Many will feel overwhelming working and studying at the same time, worried that they are not able to catch up with their school works. But we say this is the best time to experience life! Because right after you graduates, it is adulthood you are facing – career, family and money.

Unless your family is filthy rich, you definitely will need to work out the expenses and budget through your university life. Even if your parents can provide you throughout the 3 to 4 years of study, our advice will still be – go get a job to gain the valuable experience.

Gives you a better perspective of the market
When you work while studying, you get to meet people from all walks of lives, you get to talk to them to understand things that you do not usually talk about with your classmates in school. This broaden your knowledge which you will not learn from your textbooks.

Helps you to discover more of yourself
Sometimes we think that we want so much to be that field hence we enrol to that course. However, many realised otherwise after they are halfway through their studies.

When you had worked in various part-time jobs, you get to know what you really like and dislike. For instance, some enjoy the analytical aspects while some prefers the interaction with people. Only when you are experiencing it yourself, you will discover more about yourselves, your interests and aptitude.

Teaches you time management skills
Once you begin working, it is a different environment from attending classes. You will often have several projects to juggle as well as meetings to attend. Learning to manage your time with classes and work will help you to adapt much more quickly.

To take it further, this is beneficial to your learning on how to deal with people at work. There is a difference between working with people in school and working with people at your job. These skills will make adjusting to the real world outside of schools much easier.

Learning to manage your time effectively can help you do better overall. Some students find that they do better in school when they have a job because it means they need to carefully plan out the week to make time to study.

If you are worried about it, try drawing up a schedule and determine just how much time you waste each week. You may be surprised at how much time you have available to work.

Helps you to avoid debt
Working while studying help to reduce the amount that you have to borrow to pay for school. A part-time job and a careful budget can help to supplement what you earn over the summer to pay for your classes.

The more you earn means the less that you need to borrow to pay for school. If you qualify for scholarships , be sure you follow the guidelines about working on them so that you can maintain your grades in order to keep them.

Student loan debt can be difficult to pay back and can slow down your progress when it comes to buying a home or starting a family. Preventing it now is the best step.

One of the things that many graduates initially struggle with is repaying their student loan. Working while studying allows you to graduate without as many financial obligations. Even if you do not want to work full-time or on a steady basis, you should consider these side hustles to help you find extra cash and avoid debt.

In general, there are pros and cons to work while studying overseas. Afterall, it’s all about your time management. If you are able to work while studying, go for it. You never know what might happen.
