[:en]The University of Sydney and Study NSW are working in collaboration with the NSW government to bring back overseas students to campus. The NSW International Student Arrivals Plan will be funded by industry, with the support of the NSW Government and its agencies and the endorsement of the Australian Government.
The pilot program will work towards bringing back around 250 students to all universities in NSW and this number will be gradually increased to 500 by the end of 2021. Students who will need in-person classes to complete their studies will be prioritized first. These students will have to complete the mandatory 14 day quarantine period.
Eligibility:

  • Must have a valid Australian Student Visa.
  • Must submit a negative Covid-19 test before departure

Note: Eligible students will be approached by their respective institutions based on a range of criteria and their individual situations, with priority given to higher degree research students.
